The apartment is adjacent to England's first natural world heritage
site which extends from Exmouth in the West, 95 miles east to Studland
Bay on the Isle or Purbeck.This particular stretch of coastline
is so special because it represents 185 million years of the earth's
geographical history in such a relatively small area.
Almost at its centre, West Bay forms a major gateway to the Jurassic
Coast, to the extent that the new West Pier, which extends 240 meters
out to sea from the foot of the new apartments at West Quay, has
been named "The Jurassic Pier."
Ten minutres away is Bridport, a busy little market town with a
good mix of shops situated between Dorchester and Lyme Regis - West
Bay is the seaside harbour for Bridport.
